Elisabeth Nordin

As a young girl, Swedish textile designer Elisabeth Nordin was inspired by Jugend, as can be seen in the "Spalje" pattern we sell. In the late 1960s she switched Borås, where she had grown up, for Swinging London. There she had time to study art, open her own shop on New Bond Street, sell tie-dye and also sell her textile patterns before returning home to Borås in 1969 and becoming a freelancer.

Elisabeth Nordin has always liked to paint large flowers, "Flower Power" in bright cheerful colours, and it was very timely.
