Elisabeth Nordin

Elisabeth Nordin Swedish textile designer was inspired early on by Jugend as you can see in the pattern "Spalje" that we sell at our store. She liked to paint big flowers, "Flower Power" in bright cheerful colours and it was right in time in the 60's and 70's.

In the late 1960s she switched Borås where she had grown up for Swinging London. There she studied art, opened her own shop on New Bond Street, sold tie-dye and also sold her textile patterns before returning home to Borås again in 1969 and becoming a freelance artist.
